Trend Report:
Spring 2011

Although we haven't even had
our first real snow storm yet, nothing
is going to stop me from talking about the
spring 2011 fashion trends. After viewing many
collections at NY Fashion week with my team,
we were able to see the trends that are going
to explode in the stores and on the streets.
Here is whats "in" for Spring/Summer 2011.

The 70's is Back

Yes, I said it. One of the largest
trends this spring/summer is sophisticated
70's fashion. The floppy hats, high-waisted
pants, flowy bowed blouses and ruffled necklines.

The Maxi Dress

Although this isn't a new trend,
whats new about it is the fabric that they
will be made with. No longer will cotton just be
used, but sheer fabrics and lace as well.

Bold Prints and Colors

When I think of spring colors, mint green,
pale pinks, yellows and blues automatically
pop into my head. Although those can be found
inevitably in any spring collection, you will defintly
spot brighter colors on the racks for the season
to come. Neon colors, bright pinks and oranges
are huge for spring/summer 2011.
Time to put those Ray Bans back on.

Flowy Frocks

As soon as the models began to
walk down the catwalk at the
BCBG MaxAzria Spring/Summer 2011
show, you could just smell the spring in
the air. Everything from the beautiful taupes,
pinks, nudes and whites, the flowy chiffon
captivated the feeling of spring. This is a must
have for your spring wardrobe.

The Pajama Look

This trend is defintly for those
who love a classic, effortless and
relaxed chicness. Silk pants, chiffon tops,
flowy blouses and lots of lace.

Minimal White
Classic. Simple. White.
Must I say more?
